The weather was not be quite there yet, but the warm welcome from Anderson Middle School in Berkley, Michigan made us feel like it was Spring!
The students really began to "spark" as they worked in small groups, crafting their pre-interview questions in anticipation of their conversation with our artist, Barbara
Selinger, Artistic Director of the Detroit Dance Collective.
The pre-interview shoot was alive with small, focused crews: producers keeping the schedule, editors and producers working with our guest, camera and sound being set-up, shots being composed, interviewers practicing their questions, desks being arranged for note taking, and a still photographer capturing it all.
